The GB is a series of standards adopted mainly from the International Electrotechnical Commission standards (IEC) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The GB standards are enforced by laws and administrative regulations and are focused on the protection of human health, personal property, and safety. It is additionally used widely by labs and test centers in China to determine material performance. Though the GB is not a certificate, it is mandatory that certain products pass the examination to be deemed credible and the returning test reports are crucial in maintaining a product鈥檚 reputation in the market.
